中国近现代教会大学校园文化特色研究

Features of the Christian University Campus Culture in modern China

本文通过对中国教会大学的物质文化、制度文化、行为文化和精神文化四个层面进行分析,认为教会大学的校园文化是中西文化结合的产物,它以校园建筑及服务设施为外在表现形式,以制度文化、行为文化和精神文化为内核。它主要的特色就是校园建筑的中西合璧与科学合理的设置,制度的规范与严格,求知科学的学习活动与丰富多彩的课余生活,宗教精神、服务理念的浓厚,师生关系的民主平等与学生主体性、独立性的展现,以及各个教会大学校园文化的多元性与多样性。在肯定这种校园文化积极因素的同时,最后也做了一些适量的评析与思考。

In this paper, through analyzing the four levels of the Christianuniversity campus culture, i.e., physical culture, institutional culture, behaviorculture and spiritual culture, the authors indicated that the Christian universitycampus culture, with the campus building and service facilities as its externalform and takes the institutional culture, behavior culture and spiritual culture asits core, is the product of the combination between Chinese and western cultures. Its main features are the East-meets-West campus architecture set scientifically and rationally, the normalized and rigorous system, colorful learning activities for the pursuit of the scientific knowledge with rich extracurricular activities, the strong religious spirit to serve, the democracy and equality of the relationship between students and teachers, the demonstration of the subjectivityand independence of the students, as well as the pluralism and diversity of eachcampus culture. In addition to acknowledging its positive influence, the authorsmade comprehensive evaluations of the Christian university campus culture atthe end of the paper.
