高校与专业选择影响因素实证研究——基于某省大一新生调查的分析 被引量:4

An Empirical Analysis of Factors Influencing Freshmen's University and Major Choices

摘要 高等教育大众化增加了学生选择高校和专业的空间。在就学成本与就业预期的权衡间,学生对高校和专业的选择趋于理性化。某省两所高校大一新生普查数据显示,学生的高校选择与专业选择具有明显的相关性,学生对专业选择重视程度略高于高校选择。其中,就业预期、他人影响和师资水平等因素对学生高校与专业选择的影响较大。 This study explores factors influencing undergraduates' university and major choices by using 2010 Freshmen Survey data from Higher Education Research Database. Empirical results show that students pay equal attention to university choice and major selection: institutional characteristics and suggestions from family members exert the most important influences on university choice, while major selection is heavily influenced by career consideration, others' suggestions and students' personal interest and abilities; institutional characteristics, others' suggestions, career consideration, major features are important factors influencing students' university choice and major selections.
