摘要
本文以第三高等学校寄宿舍为题材,通过文部省及其他高等学校围绕寄宿舍的职能定位发生的争论与摩擦,尤其聚焦折田彦市校长的教育理念,初步摸索近代日本高等教育的管理特征。与东京的第一高等学校实施的通过"笼城自治"培养国家主义精神不同,京都的第三高等学校的寄宿制应建立在学生实际之需的基础之上,反映了近代日本高等教育多样的管理理念。
This study is based on the Boarding Schooling System of Kyoto Third Higher School( or College),and explores the management features of higher education in modern Japan through specifically concentrating on the educational philosophies proposed by President Hikoichi Orita and analyzing the arguments and disagreements on the functions of Boarding Schooling System between the Japanese Ministry of Education and other Higher Schools. Unlike the method that Tokyo First Higher School has adopted to develop the spirit of nationalism based on 'Cocoonism( 籠城主義 Rōjō Shugi) ',the Boarding Schooling System employed by Kyoto Third Higher School is established under the practical demands of students, which reflects diversified management philosophies in higher education in modern Japan.
