The Causes and Countermeasures for Suicides among College Students:Taking Some Universities as Examples

近年来,大学生自杀已成为一个备受关注的社会现象。文章以近五年某省市高校大学生自杀数据为例,描述大学生自杀的现状,探索大学生自杀原因及风险因素。并通过理论探讨对预防及干预大学生自杀危机的策略进行了反思,认为应该从树立心理健康教育的服务意识、杜绝行政化的心理危机排查方式、加强大中小学心理健康教育的衔接、重视研究生的心理健康教育工作及建构生命教育理念下的心理健康教育五个方面降低大学生自杀的可能性。

The suicides in universities have received much concern in recent years. This article described the current situation of suicides in universities and explored its causes and risk factors taking the data from universities in one province as examples. Besides,we made a reflection on the strategies on suicides prevention and intervention in universities through theoretical discussion. We proposed that the possibilities of suicides in universities could be reduced by establishing the service awareness of mental health education,precluding administrative methods to identify mental crises,strengthening the link between mental health education in universities and in primary and secondary schools,attaching importance to mental health education for postgraduates and constructing the mental health education under the concept of life education.
