Synthesis of high-performance waterborne polyester resin

摘要 采用多元仲醇、叔醇与多元酸熔融缩聚合成了水性聚酯树脂,并制备了水性聚酯-氨基烘干漆。通过粘度和p H值测试,凝胶色谱和红外光谱分析以及涂层性能测定研究了原料中羟基与羧基物质的量比、1,4-环己烷二甲酸和三羟甲基丙烷用量及助溶剂对水性树脂及其涂料性能的影响。结果表明,羟基与羧基物质的量比为1.1:1,、1,4-环己烷二甲酸用量为酸总物质的量的6%,三羟甲基丙烷用量为醇总物质的量的12%,助溶剂采用乙二醇单丁醚时树脂及涂层性能最优。制得的涂料耐水性(沸水,2 h),储存稳定性(40℃,14 d)和耐溶剂性良好。 The waterborne polyester resin was synthesized by melt polycondensation of multiple secondary alcohol,tertiary alcohol and polybasic acid. The waterborne polyester- amino drying paint was prepared. The effects of molar ratio of hydroxyl to carboxyl groups,1,4-cyclohexane dicarboxylic acid and trimethylolpropane dosage and cosolvent on the properties of water-based resins and coatings were investigated by viscosity and p H testings,gel chromatography and infrared spectroscopy analysis and determination of coating properties. The results showed that the resins and coatings had optimal performance as the conditions as followed:molar ratio of hydroxy to carboxyl 1.1:1,6% 1,4-cyclohexane dicarboxylic acid(based on the molar of total acid),12% trimethylolpropane(based on the molar of total alcohol)and glycol butyl ether as cosolvent. The coatings had good water resistance(boiling water,2 h),storage stability(40 ℃,14 d)and solvent resistance.
