In this paper structure design and checking calculation of insert plate are introduced when the clip insert plate is applied in double wall cofferdam construction on inclined river bed. Combined with practical works author points out that the use of the clip insert plate is an economic, safe and effective method to reduce construction cost and shorten limit time.
