The performances of flue gas desulfurization gypsum are analysed and its application and the progress in its research are described.The technology of using desulfurization gypsum to make building materials (such as β gypsum and α gypsum) is becoming mature, the production of auxiliary materials of cement using desulfurization gypsum has come into its commercial stage,and its application in producing cementing agent for tailings filling has undergone the test phase.Meanwhile,the desulfurization gypsum also has broad application in agriculture.
