残余带宽资源下VBR流式视频的传输协议

The real-time transmission protocols for VBR streaming video under the residue bandwidth resources

摘要 流式视频服务需要一定的基本带宽作保证,但应用环境中经常存在带宽不足的问题。本文讨论了这种资源不足情况即残余带宽下的存储视频的流式传输问题,提出了一个最短包迹传输算法,讨论了它的应用,分析了该算法下带宽的有效利用、分配、传输流的平滑及播放延迟等性质。实验结果显示这种服务模式是可行而有效的。 Real-time video services need basic transmission bandwidth, but in the application environment there is a problem that required bandwidth couldn抰 be satisfied. The paper discussed VBR video transmission problems under the residue bandwidth resources that is less than required bandwidth, proposed a shortest envelope transmission algorithm, discussed its application, analyzed the efficient allocation and utilization of bandwidth, the smoothing of the VBR streaming video, and startup delay. The experiment results show this service is feasible and efficient.
