网络监控是为了收集网络行为与状态信息的操作,是网络管理的主要组成部分,其主要功能是为了收集网络的相关信息,包括了动态信息与静态信息,并具有收集网络事件的统计信息的功能。网络流量监测是一个从网络设备上采集数据、解码数据、分析数据的过程。它从网络中采集一些具体的指标性数据,并反馈给监测者。这些数据对网络的资源分配、容量规划、服务质量分析、错误监测与隔离、安全管理都十分重要。这些数据可以用来作为分析网络性能、了解网络运行动态、诊断可能存在的问题,甚至预测可能出现的问题。本文从计算机网络监测的背景和意义出发,首先对计算机网络流量的相关课题背景进行研究,分析了网络流量监控的研究现状,提出了论文主要内容和研究目标;接着介绍了网络流量监控系统业务的概念与发展,描述了系统实现的开发环境。其次,研究了网络流量监控系统的功能需求与性能需求。

Network monitoring is used to collect information about network behavior and state of operation,and it is the main component of network management.The main function is collecting information of the network,including the dynamic information and static information,and the function of collecting statistical information of network events is included.Network traffic monitoring is a process of collecting data from the network equipment,decoding data,analyzing data.It gathers some specific indexes data from the network,and gives them back to the monitor.These data are very important to the network resources distribution,capacity planning,service quality analysis,error detection and isolation,security management.These data can be used to analyze network performance,monitor the network running dynamic,diagnose possible problems,even to predict possible problems.In this paper,we start from the background and significance of the computer network monitoring.First,we study the background of the computer network traffic,which relate to these subjects,analyze the research status of network traffic monitoring,and put forward the main content and research goal of the paper.Second,the paper introduces the concept and development of the network traffic monitoring system,and describes the development environment of system implementation.Then the functional requirements and performance requirements of the network traffic monitoring system is studied.The network traffic monitoring is an im-portant part of network management and systems management.It provides the important information to the network operation and plays an important role in network performance analysis,abnormal monitoring,link state monitoring,capacity planning,etc.In addition,it is the necessary premise and means of modeling and analyzing network traf-fic.From view of network users and network operators,the internet traffic monitoring system has an important research value about improving the scientificity and rationality of network management.
