介绍第四届世界高速铁路大会概况;重点阐述欧洲、亚洲、北美、澳大利亚高速铁路发展计划;提出高速铁路是实施可持续发展的正确投资方向,高速铁路发展要进一步解决好舒适、安全、性能、成本和环保等问题,要在建设融资方面有所创新;指出我国高速铁路建设要高起点,要发展适合我国国情的高速技术体系,坚持引进与研制结合,实现铁路技术装备现代化。
