坚定道路自信、理论自信、制度自信和文化自信是改革开放40年来的一条重要经验,是建设具有强大凝聚力和引领力的社会主义意识形态的关键。建设社会主义意识形态首先是夯实"两个巩固"的根本任务,正确处理和把握坚定"四个自信"与建设社会主义意识形态的内在逻辑关系,充分认识坚定"四个自信"是建设社会主义意识形态的基本要求,是应对各种敌对意识形态挑战,维护社会主义意识形态安全的必然选择。

Having strong confidence in our path, guiding theories, political system and culture is the important experience over the past 40 years of reform and opening up, and also the key to building a socialist ideology with strong cohesiveness and influence. Building socialist ideology is first of all the fundamental task of consolidating the guiding position of Marxism in terms of ideology and consolidating the common ideological basis for the united struggle of the entire Party and all people throughout the country. In order to deal with various challenges posed by hostile ideologies and safeguard the security of socialist ideology, we must correctly handle and grasp the inherent logical relationship between the 'matters of confidence' and building socialist ideology, and fully understand that the 'matters of confidence' is the basic requirement for building socialist ideology.
