要想富,慎修路——西方学者对交通投资与经济发展关系研究及其对我国的启示

Carefully Taking Road Building as Your Economic Development Strategy: Research on the Relationship of Road Building with Economic Development in the West and Its Implications to China

道路交通投资带动经济发展的战略(或者说以要想富,先修路为重要指导的发展经济的工作指导方针),近年来已愈被我国各级政府所重视。在对西方学者关于交通与经济发展关系有代表性研究成果进行分析、梳理的基础上,结合中国的实际,本文提出了西方相关研究给中国的五点重要启示。

Economic growth as a result oftransportation investment (or transportationinvestment as a stratagem of triggering economicgrowth) has been given more and more attention inChina by the governments at all levels. Based on theclassification and analysis of the classic research onthe relationship of road building with economicdevelopment in the West, taking China's relatedpractices into consideration, the author has developedfive implications of the relationship of road buildingwith economic development for China.
