The 60Co train cargo inspection system with super automaticity is the first one in the world. And the interlocking unit is an important part of the radiography system. This paper introduces the idea of designing the interlocking unit in detail and accomplishes a newstyle unit, which pays attention to the safety of the train driver and the accidental entrant. The interlocking unit, which is highly integrated, easy to be mounted and debugged and convenient to be operated and maintained, has played an excellent role in the work of the whole inspection system.
