Giving Full Scope to the Role of Geological Prospecting Units in Provincial Economic Development

地质勘查队伍 ,具有地质勘查人才、地质勘查经验、地质资料和勘查施工设备等方面的优势和条件 ,发挥他们在农业地质、矿产勘查开发、地质灾害防治和旅游地质、工程勘察施工方面的作用 ,对促进社会经济的可持续发展具有重要的现实意义。文章结合云南省的实际 ,论述了地勘队伍如何在当地一、二、三产业中发挥作用。

The author argues that strong geological prospecting teams have the following characteristics: qualified personnel; experience in prospecting; and geological data and equipment for prospecting and construction. The paper goes on to say that there is practical significance in promoting sustainable development, especially in the areas of agricultural geology, mineral resource development, disaster management, tourist geology and engineering prospecting and construction. Based on an analysis of Yunnan province, the author also discusses how geological prospecting units give play to the local primary, second and tertiary industry.
