西安半坡遣址是我国第一次揭示一个原始氏族公社聚落的重大考古发掘,在我国新石器时代考古历史上具有划时代的意义。具有重要的历史、艺术及科学价值,是一处重要的人类文化遣产,40多年来,西安半坡博物馆专业人员和国内的专家学者为此作出了许多努力,本文记录了半坡遣址保护方面的历程及所做的工作。

Xi’an Banpo Historical site is the first great geological discovery of primitive commune and plays a very important role in the Stone age archeology history.Owing to the critical historical,art and scientific value,the experts and workers both home and abroad made a lot of efforts during the past 40 years.The paper narrates the site’s protection process and the work around it.
