屈原祠是湖北省文物保护单位,现代仿古建筑,处于三峡水库的淹没范围内。如何对待三峡淹没区内这一重要的文物建筑,曾一度众说不一,今天尽管这一问题已成为不争的事实,但文物保护的理念仍应引起是我们的高度重视。本文力图从屈原祠的文物价值及国内外的文物保护法规条文来阐述屈原祠保护搬迁的重要意义和搬迁保护的必要性与可行性。

Qu Yuan Memorial Temple located in the flooded area of the Three Gorges Reservoir is a modeled after an antique building of modem and a cultural relic under the protection of Hubei Province.It has been the problem in dispute regarding the historical architecture in the flooded area.The idea of preservation of cultural relics demands much attention,though some factual agreement is reached on this issue.The article is to demonstrate the significance and historical value of Qu Yuan Memorial Temple and the necessity and feasibility of protective relocation according to Chinese and international rules and regulations in the preservation of cultural relics.
