An Investigation into die Monk Kongbai's Trip to Tang Dynasty Capital

本文试图以史料为经、地理为纬,从空海入唐选择进京路线的客观性、可能性和现实性分析入手,勾勒出空海一行从福州至长安的行进轨迹,以弥补中日有关空海入唐历史的一段空白。

This paper is to conduct analyses upon the objectiveness,possibility and feasibility of the roadmap selected by Monk IConghai to Tang Dynasty Capital by referring to the historical and geographical information respectively.In addition,it means to outline the progressive route from Fuzhou to Chang'an by the delegation led by Monk Konghai so as to bridge the gap both in China and Japan of the historic record regarding the trip by Konghai to China during Tang Dynasty.
