A New Method for Measuring Horizontal Distance and Elevation Difference by Using Theodolite

The calculation method of deducing horizontal distance and elevation difference between two points by utilizing the vertical angle and reading measured with theodolite. Comparing with routine measuration method, this new method was characterized by precise deduction, high precision, free from landform, efficient and convenient. With the development and application of electronic theodolite with high precision, the measuration precision of this method would be improved significantly, and conduct all the functional measuration.
