An Analysis on the Order of Adjectiveswhen Multiple Adjectives Describe the Same Noun in Japanese

日语中常见多项定语修饰同一名词的现象。本文以问卷调查的方式,基于调查结果,对多项定语间的意义关系展开分析和论述,并进行分类归纳。这一系列分析旨在明确日语多项定语的次序排列同多项定语间意义关系的关联性,同时,也留意到诸如日语表达习惯、说话人的表达意愿、实际语境等其他因素对多项定语次序排列的影响和制约。此外,本文通过对比分析中日双方调查参与者的数据结果,探究日汉两种语言各自在多项定语次序排列方面的一些特点,并尝试剖析其中原因,以期望能帮助中国学生更好地、更有效地学好日语。

In Japanese,it is a common phenomenon that multiple adjectives are used to describe the same noun.Based on the results I get from the survey,this article is an attempt to analyze and classify the semantic relationships of multiple adjectives.The goal of this analysis is to summarize and clarify the connection between the order and the semantic relationships of multiple adjectives.Meanwhile,it is also noticed that other factors,such as idiomatic expressions,intention of the speakers,context,etc.will impact and restrict the order of multiple adjectives.Furthermore,via this analysis of the survey in which both Japanese and Chinese participate,the article further explores the respective characteristics of the order of multiple adjectives in both languages and conducts a cause analysis.I believe this article shall serve as a useful tool for Chinese students to learn Japanese in a more effective way.
