云锦是南京特有的手工丝织品,具有悠久的历史和鲜明的民族特色。当前,云锦在现代室内空间的装饰应用过程中遇到了现代审美与空间场所精神的挑战,是继续维持传统图案样貌不变,还是大胆创新形式与内容,是摆在云锦生产者和设计传承者面前一个值得深思的问题。从云锦在室内空间装饰运用的角度提出了云锦亟待创新的问题,希望与同行者共勉。

Brocade with a long history and distinct national characteristics is the unique handmade silk fabric of Nanjing, which has faced the challenge of modern aesthetic and space place spirit during the application in modern interior decoration nowadays. It is worthy for the brocade producers and the design inheritor to deeply think that whether they should continue to maintain the traditional patterns unchanged or boldly innovate the forms and contents. The innovation of the brocade application viewpoints in interior decoration is urgent.
