On Thought of Stock System From the Warfare of Commerce in the Late Qing Dynasty

晚清人士认识到股份制企业的制度优势,提出要在轮船航运业、工业、商业、保险业等国民经济部门中组建股份制公司企业,藉以集中社会财力,扩大企业规模,增强企业实力,与西方国家进行商战。

People in the late Qing Dynasty realized the systematic advantages of stock system enterprises,recommended to establish the corporation enterprises of the stock system in the shipping industry,manufacture industry,commerce,insurance and other departments of national economy so that to muster social financial resources,to expand enterprises' scale,to strengthen enterprises' force and to wage commercial warfare with western countries.
