编辑工作面对知识经济对人才的新需要 ,必须要逐步建立一支创新型的编辑队伍。创新精神 ,创造性思维 ,全新的知识结构 ,驾驭现代信息技术和能力以及与人合作的品格等是这支队伍应具备的基本素质。根据编辑创新的行为发生模式 ,社会各界应为其营造良好的创新环境。
