摘要
黄河中游晋陕蒙地区分布着大量以红色黏土为主的晚第三纪沉积。作者对晋陕蒙交界地带进行了大量的野外考察。在对研究区进行了地貌分区的基础上 ,探讨了研究区的地貌演化特征 ,并进行了研究区的晚第三纪地层对比。研究发现该区晚第三纪沉积受沉积时地貌部位、沉积过程等影响 ,沉积物类型多样 ,分布复杂。其中晚第三纪的河流相砾石的分布为研究本区古水系发育历史提供了一些证据。
The neogene sediments were widely distributed in the border area between Shanxi,Shaanxi and Inner Mongolia of north China which located in the middle reaches of the Yellow River. The sketchy geomorphic map of the region was drawn based on the field investigation. The geomorphic evolution was discussed based on the sedimentary features and the correlation of the Late Cenozoic stratums. The facies and the thickness of the neogene sediments are very different in different places. The neogene alluvia gravels provides an important evidence for restructuring the evolution of the river system.
