摘要
50多年前,印度开国总理尼赫鲁就表达了做"有声有色"的大国的强烈愿望。近十年来,印度政府为实现强国心愿,以信息产业带动经济快速发展,并不断增加军费,军事实力日趋雄厚,而"全方位务实"外交更使印度增加了跻身大国的筹码。尽管当今印度成为世界大国的条件还不成熟,但印度是潜在的世界大国。
Over fifty years ago, the first prime minister of India had elaborated his super power dream distinctively. In recent decades, the Indian government has done a lot in order to turn its longcherished dream into reality. For example, the economy has been developed quickly by means of IT industry; its military expenditures increased, and its military strength reinforced; its integrated diplomacy puts more weight in its greatnation. India has been a potential leading power in spite of the fact that more time is needed to prepare.
