摘要
在Internet上使用搜索引擎、门户网站、目录结构查询信息时有许多局限性。最近尽管出现了一些类似传统DBMS查询语言的更高级查询语言 ,但它们对查询分布在不同站点上的数据却无能为力。本文介绍了一种根据用户需求进行查询并组合信息的平台及语言。该平台基于移动代理技术 ,在信息使用者和信息提供者之间起到中介作用。该语言基于XML查询语言 。
Search engines,portals,and directories have some limitations to support the searching over the Internet.Recent solutions to such pro￣blems enable us to use sophisticated query languages which resemble the traditional DBMS query languages.These approaches,however,fail when the data of interest are distributed on different sites.In this paper we present a platform and a language supporting a powerful approach to extract and assemble information according to users needs.The language is based on a XML query language and adapted to the case where information is obtained by collecting those distributed over multiple sites.The platform is based on mobile agents and acts as an intermediary between users and information providers.
