Single-Scan Technigue for Determination of the Thickness and Optical Constants of Thin Metal Films

摘要 该文提出了一种改进的衰减全反射结构,并用单个激光光束同时激发了表面等离子波和修正的长程表面等离子波,根据反射率曲线中这两个等离子波的吸收峰,可直接确定结构中金属薄膜的厚度和介电常数. A novel method with single-wavelength light is proposed to determine the optical constants and the thickness of a thin metal film. It bases on an improved Attenuated Total Reflection geometry in which a conventional surface plasmon and a modified long-range surface plasmon can be exicted at the same time.
