The requirements, which is introduced in relative standard and guidance, to the microcomputer-based relaying products' self-check function are summarized. The paper also supplies for several methods of realizing the self-check function. With some examples such as open circuit self-check, PT broken line check and the abnormal output of the switching power suppy, it illustrates the self-check-function improvement of the microcomputer-based relaying products.
