EulerLagrange equation system is one of the most important mathematical models in analytic mechanics and multibody system dynamics. There often exist dependent constraints in the equations of the systems such as parallel mechanisms. The existence and uniqueness of the solution for such systems has not been discussed, a theorem is given on this problem, which is an extension of previous results.
