ON THE CAUSE OF THE STEADY UPSURGE OF THE ISLAM RESTORATION MOVEMENT IN THE POSTWAR PERIOD

伊斯兰复兴运动持续高涨是战后人类历史发展的重大事件。它不仅影响着约占世界1/5的广大穆斯林,而且由伊斯兰内部事务逐渐演化为全球性问题,在世界政治经济、国际关系格局方面起着重要的作用。随着全球化进程加剧,无论是伊斯兰复兴运动的巨大能量和感召力,或无视周边国家进步而只求助自己的态度,还是对西方现代化模式激烈批判的举动,以及它产生的原因,都引起了世人的普遍关注。

The steady upsurge of the Islam Restoration Movement i s an important e vent in the history of mankind in the postwar period. It exercises great influen ce on the masses of Islam people that account for 1/5 of the world population. I t has changed into a global issue from the internal affairs of the Islam world, affecting the world politics, economy and the pattern of international relations hip. As the globalization is advancing rapidly, the great power and appeal of th e movement, their policy of relying on themselves without paying any attention t o the progress made in their surrounding countries, and their fierce criticism o f the western pattern of modernization and the causes of its emergence  all th ese have drawn the attention of the whole world.
