现代化是一个涉及自然、社会、经济的复杂系统 ,是一个具有时空约束和时代内涵的动态过程。不同国家在不同的发展阶段所追求的具体目标有所不同 ,世界上研究现代化的各大流派都力求制订一个现代化的客观标准 。

Modernization is a complex system relating to nature, society and economy and is a dynamic process with space-time restriction and time connotation. Different countries pursue different concrete goals in different development periods. In the world, different schools of thought studying modernization make an effort to work out a modernization objective model standard so as to measure the modernization level of every country in every development period.
