On the Text Appreciation of English Poetry

本文从读者反应论的观点出发,结合文体学在英语诗歌解读方面的研究成果,探讨了英语诗歌欣赏的不同模式,指出英语诗歌的解读应该聚焦于诗歌文本,从语音、语义、语法层面寻找诗歌的美学效果。

This paper, based on the Reader Response Theory and the viewpoints of some stylistics, probes models in the appreciation of English poetry, and points out that the reading of English poetry should be focused on the text self, and the aesthetic effect will be found in the levels of phonology, semantics and grammar.
