Catalytic Synthesis of Methyl Cinnamate with Sodium Bisulfate

硫酸氢钠能够代替硫酸作为酯化催化剂。在一水硫酸氢钠催化下合成了肉桂酸甲酯 ,并用熔点、元素分析和红外光谱进行表征。当 0 .0 2mol肉桂酸、0 .15mol甲醇、0 .0 0 7mol硫酸氢钠一起回流加热 3h ,其收率达 98.8% ,此催化剂能重复使用。

Sodium bisulfate can be used as catalyst for the esterification instead of sulfuric acid.Methyl cinnamate was synthesized by the catalysts of sodium bisulfate monohydrate,and characterized by melting point,elementary analysis and IR spectra.The yield of the ester is up to 98.8%under the reaction conditions:cinnamic acid 0.02mol,methyl alcohol 0.15mol,sodium bisulfate 0.007mol and heating time 3h at refluxing temperature.The catalyst can be reused.
