Development and Trend of Long Distance Coal Pipeline Transportation in China

近十余年来,我国建设了“管道输煤试验中心”,大力开展了管道输煤技术的研究,提出了十多条长距离煤浆管道规划,并重点进行了几条大型输煤管线的可行性研究。

Due to the distribution of coal resources and the locations of industrial cities in China, coal has to be transported from north to south and west to east. And the existing transportation systems in China are in great tension. Base on the above conditions, this paper stressed a necessity to development of long distance coal pipeline transportation. Jn recent 10 years, China has established Coal Pipeline Transportation Test Centre, and had several technical research programs on pipeline transportation. Over 10 plans of long distance coal slurry pipeline are provided in this paper and feasibility studies on several large coal pipeline have conducted. Base on the above all, the technology of coal slurry pipeline transportation can be available for use and a ration in economy. The conditions for the development of coal pipeline transportation are become mature and will have a bright future.
