摘要
论述了3世纪时中国重要学者杜预(222-284)在科学技术方面的工作.全文分为生平事迹和军事谋略、对农业经济的见解、对历法的研究、对地理学的研究、在技术方面的研究工作等5个小题进行论述.杜预具有非凡的思维能力,是当时科学家和思想家群体(如裴秀、刘徽、王叔和、杨泉、张华等)中的重要一员.
Du Yu(222-284) was an important politician,militarist,scholar and specialist in science and technology in the 3 rd century.In the present paper the author deals with Du Yus life and his military accomplishments,his ideas on agricultural economics,his studies in calendar and geography,and his achievements in other science and technology,and comes to the conclusion that Du Yu had of extraordinary ability of thinking and was a member of the group of scientists and ideologists,including Pei Xiu,Liu Hui,Wang Suhe,Yang Quan,Zhang Hua,in his time.
