In the optical fiber transmission system of CATV, there are a lot of factors affect the carrier to noise ratio and nonlinear distortion. Moreover, the contradiction exists between carrier to noise ration and improvement of the standard of nonlinear distortion. To find out the chief reason which cause inferior carrier to noise ratio and nonlinear distortion and pay a great attention it in practice will be good for doing this work.
