William Fulkner,in the book, the Sound and The Fury, eulogizes the beauty of human nature which exists in ordinary persons through the sharp contrast between an old black woman servant, Diersi and the noble persons of Kampson, such as altruism and selfishness, love and hate, kindness and cruelty, loyalty and cheat, and enthusiasm and degeneration etc.
