The key to improving the on - the - spot guide capacity is to focus on the training of practical compe-tence of tourist guide language. The author makes some suggestions from the relation between the guide profession and the language on the establishment of microteaching training system, strengthening body language training, fo-cusing on nationalism and making the guide language more interesting by means of musical language so that effective teaching results can be achieved.
