摘要 介绍了一种低成本高质量的交互式多点视频会议系统的软件实现方法。该系统参照了ITU制订的H.332协议,采用分布式松耦合的系统结构,大大地提高了系统的规模扩展性。在音视频数据编解码方面,该系统利用了微软公司Windows2000操作系统内置的软件Codec,具体的实现用到了微软公司的DirectShow技术。由于该系统选用了目前最优秀的低码率图像编码标准MPEG-4来进行视频数据的编解码,取得了令人满意的主观视频质量。 This paper introduces a software approach of a low-cost and high-quality interactive multipoint videoconferencing system. This system adopts a distributed loosely-coupled architecture, which is based on ITU's H. 332 protocol, so that it will have much better scalability. As to compression and decompression of A/V data, this system takes advantage of the software codec embedded in Microsoft's Windows2000 operating system and uses Microsoft's DirectShow technology in its implementation. Specially, because it chooses MPEG-4 video codec, currently the most excellent low bit rate video codec, to compress and decompress the video data, this system acquires a satisfying subjective quality of video.
