高校公共英语课应注重语篇教学

On Content-oriented College-English Teaching To Non-English Majors

本文通过客观分析和总结 ,认为传统的教学方法已经无法适应高校公共英语教学的实际需要 ,应该逐步运用和推广语篇教学法 ,因为这种教学方法注重整体教学 ,有助于学生获取信息 ,能够激发学生的学习兴趣 ,增强其参与意识 ,因而更有利于培养学生在听、说、读、写诸方面的综合交际能力。

After having made objective analysis, this paper comes to the conclusion that traditional teaching methods can't successfuly meet the need of College-English teaching to non-English majors and that a new method, the Content-oriented Teaching Method, should be adopted, More and more people come to realize that this new method can help students get more information, motivate them in their study and enhance their sense of participation, thus enabling them to be more capable in listening, speaking, reading and writing.
