朱自清的《中国儿童文学与现代化进程》运用现代化理论视角 ,以对儿童文学本性的认识和世界性儿童文学视野来梳理中国儿童文学的历史发展轨迹 ,提出了中国儿童文学不是“古已有之”而是发生于“现代” ,中国现代儿童文学史中存在着两个“现代”等富于创见的学术观点。《进程》不但厘清了中国儿童文学许多重大历史事实 ,而且在此基础上提出了若干有关中国儿童文学的深刻思想 ,显示了作者深邃的意识。
