摘要
目的 :将PET的功能代谢图像与MRI的解剖图像进行融合 ,来研究融合对临床诊断的意义。方法 :对 2 0例癫痫患者的PET图像与MRI图像进行融合来自动定位代谢变化区域。采用最大互信息法来配准图像 ,二维和三维融合方法来融合图像并作了临床评估。结果 :通过将功能信息映射到 2D/ 3D解剖图像上后 ,2 3个代谢改变病灶被准确定位到 2 0个癫痫患者相应的MRI图像上 ,其中MRI有相应异常改变的只有 6例。结论 :研究证明 ,图像的融合有助于更全面地了解病变的性质与周围解剖结构的关系 ,具有实际推广价值。
Objective:Fusing the PET images and MRI images in order to investigate the significance of fusion technology for clinic diagnostics.Methods:Twenty epilepsy patients are involved in this study. Method based on maximized mutual information is used as the similar measure for aligning images. Two fusion strategies, namely, 2D fusion and 3D fusion techniques are adopted as fusion approaches and fusion results are provided for clinic evaluations.Results:By mapping functional information onto the 2D/3D anatomic images, twenty-three metabolically changed foci are accurately positioned on 20 epilepsy patients' MRI images, while MRI alone had only 6 true positive findings.Conclusions:By this study, it has been showed that fusing metabolic images with anatomic images can help to obtain a full understanding about the lesion and peripheral structures and can be used as routine practice for clinical tasks.
