The importance of mineral materials in the development of ecological farming is discussed. Fertilizer efficiency can be improved by adding mineral materials. Safer and more nutritional animal husbandry products can be produced with mineral materials in forage. In agriculture chemistry, some mineral materials have direct inhibition to insects, crop pollution can be avoided. Some mineral materials can be used as carriers, blending agents and adsorbent of agriculture chemistry. So, developing mineral materials is an effective way in ecological farming and environment protection.
