关于人文—社会科学成果评估标准的几点意见

Some Opinions about the Standards in Appraising Achievements in Humanities and Social Sciences

2002年lO月26日-27日,《中国社会科学》杂志和华中科技大学在武汉联合举办了“创新时代的哲学社会科学”高层论坛。这是作者在大会上的发言。他认为,人文-社会科学的成果评估,应只以论著本身作为评估对象,课题来源的级别、核心刊物与否、是否获奖、是否被媒体报道等,均不应与学术研究相关,不能作为评估依据。他认为应改革目前高校中较为普遍存在的将量化管理简单地用于对学术研究的考察和成果的评估上。

Editor's note: On October 27,2002, a high grade forum of 'Philosophy and Social Sciences in the Era of Innovation' was convened by Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Huazhong University of Science and Technology in Wuhan.Here is the Author's speech at the forum.He thinks that in appraising the achievements in humanities and social sciences,the sole object to be appraised must be the treatise itself.The rank of the source of task,whether it is carried in a leading publication or not, whether it has won an award,or reported by media,all are not directly relevant to academic work, hence no foundation of appraisement. Quantification control directly employed by most institutions of higher learning in examining academic researches and result appraising must be reformed.
