通过查阅相关文献 ,运用比较研究的方法 ,深入了解游戏与体育游戏之间的关系 ,指出体育游戏是一项内容丰富、形式多样、竞赛性强、寓运动于快乐之中的娱乐性活动。体育游戏是在原始游戏中派生出的在人的意识支配下形成的对游戏的升华和规范。深入认识体育游戏的特点 ,全面挖掘和实现体育游戏的功能 ,对新体育教育思想和策略的形成 ,充分体现体育“以人为本”的思想都将起到积极的促进作用。

BY consulting a grea deal of literature materials, using comparing research method, the article probes into the relations between games and sports, and tells us that sports game is a kind of entertainments which contains various forms, and of the competitive also of joy. The author thinks that the sports games was origined from the primitive games which controlled, regulated and developed by man's idea. It is of active and promotional effect to understand the characteristics, excavate and realize the function of sports game, for forming nwe PE thought and policy.
