高等工程教育作为我国高等教育的一个重要组成部分,正在异军突起。从强化基础教育,加强工程实践,加强国际交流三个方面对应用型高等工程教育在新世纪如何立足现实,保持和发展学校特色,精心打造学校品牌进行初步的探索。

Advanced engineering education,as an important component of higher education in China,is develop-ing rapidly. This paper explores how applied advanced engineering education should face reality ,maintain and im-prove its characteristics for running the college, and elaborate its brand from the following three aspects: strengthening fundamental education, strengthening engineering practice and strengthening international ex-change.
