《三国演义》是部“世代累积型”的小说,史学家、民间艺人、小说家先后参与了创作,故其思想内涵是多义的。但小说中基本的文化立场则只有两个,即史家之言和民间文化。与之相适应,小说中也出现了两种基本的叙事模式,类似于史传文本的叙事与类似于话本文本的叙事。这两种叙事模式是不同的,它们从外在的题材处理形式到内在的价值体系,都存在一些差异。

The subject of The Romance of The Three Kingdoms is of various significance as historians, story -tellers and novelists took part in the creation of the fiction.But there are only two cultural standpoints,the his-torican' standpoint and the folk culture. Similarly, there are two narration models, historical book and story teller' s script. The two narration models differ in subject and value system.
