The Chinese nation is a great ethnic group with a glorious patriotic tradition. Deng Xioping' s patriotic ideology,formed and developed from practice.is imbuned with noticeable features of the time and abundant con-tents of ideology. Patriotism is the core of the Chinese nation's spirit. It is quite indispensable to master compre-hensively and understand profoundly the basie features of Deng Xiaoping' s patriotic ideology if we are to carry forward and develop the spirit of the Chinese nation.
