On the Historical Study of Chinese Contemporary Literature

受"重写文学史"的影响,20世纪90年代以来出现了大批新的中国当代文学史论,这些学者致力于建设新的学科话语,寻找新的研究视角,拓展新的阐释空间,取得了一些引人注目的成果。论题旨在通过对当代文学"通史"和"断代史"的研究,勾勒出20世纪90年代以来的中国当代文学史研究的总体面貌。

Influenced by the prevailing trend of 'rewriting the history of Chinese literature' ever since 1990s, a number of scholars have come up with new theories on the history of contemporary Chinese literature. In their efforts, they ventured to create new discourse for the discipline, pursue innovative perspective for the field of study, and explore extra room for interpretation. And their achievements are indeed noteworthy. In this paper, the author offers a sketch of these efforts in light of both the overall and periodical point of view.
