摩托车零件的电镀大致可分为防护装饰性镀铬和耐磨性镀铬,防护装饰性镀铬属于多层电镀,是镀在具有抗蚀性多层镍镀层上,其镀层很薄,一般在1μm左右,耐磨性镀铬是直接镀在基体金属上,其镀层较厚,一般为2～50μm,厚者可达数百微米。
The electroplating of motorcycle parts can be devided into two kinds: protectiveornamental chromium-plating and abrasion resistant chromium-plating. The former is a multi-layer electroplating, in which the chromium is plated on the multi-layer nickle coating, The chromium coating is very thin. it is about 1μm. In the latter kind, chromium is directly plated on the base metal with a thicker coating which is about 2～50μm. and the thickest coating can be several hundred μm.
