Special Form of Adjective Construction in the Guangfeng Dialect

广丰方言与“重叠”、“附加”语法手段有关的形容词构成格式中,“BBA”式具有形象性并着重强调程度,“AA儿”式表程度强化且带亲切语气,“AA试”式表程度弱化也可兼表对程度的评估,“AA起”式以对动作的描述表示事物的性状,“AA动”、“AA转”、“AA开”式描述事物处于某种运动状态之中,“大/衰+量”式则由形容词与量词组合而成表示性状程度的大或小。

There are many construction forms of adjective in Guangfeng Dialect,such as 'BBA''AA 儿''AA 试'AA起''AA动''AA转'''AA开'and '大/衰 +量' ,etc. The form of 'BBA' is mainly used for emphasizing degree in an imaginative way. The form of 'AA儿' is also used for emphasizing degree,but it is provided with some kind mood. The form of 'AA试,' indicates weakened degree and appreciation of degree. 'AA起'expresses the state by the description of movements. The forms of 'AA动', 'AA转'and 'AA开 ' describe the state of special movements. The form of '大/衰 +量' is composed of adjective and quantitative and it is used for illustration of shape size (big or small).To investigate the forms,it has important value of language material on research of synchronization and diachrony relationships among dialects. It has theoretical meaning of typology too on the recognition of regular pattern of the word formation in Chinese language.
